Council is at times quiet, loud, violent, dark, noisy, ambient, peaceful, atonal, brash, beautiful, abrasive, calm, experimental and so on and so on. Council is the soundtrack to the life you’re afraid to live. Council is the score to your doppelgangers biopic.
For live performances Council usually has guest musicians featured in the set. These performances are improvised and unrehearsed. They are fun for us and hope they are also enjoyable for you. They are not rock shows. You will [probably] not see us in a rock venue. You will [most likely] see us in a warehouse, or an art space, or a train car, or an airplane, or your living room.
Council recordings will be released in many forms and will always be released in limited edition handmade packages.
